Aryavart Gramin Bank gets India Power Award 2009 in Innovative Financing category. The award was presented during Green Power VI Conference  on 17th November 2009 at New Delhi.

Aryavart Gramin Bank is first bank in India to avail benefits of Carbon Credit

In order to expand and sustain clean energy through clean development mechanism (CDM) and to avail benefit of carbon credits, the Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a U.S.A. based corporation to work together for mutually beneficial purpose of sourcing and selling Voluntary Emission Reduction (VER) Carbon Credits. Scope of the Project will include all lending for solar products by the Bank during the project term of Six years. The Bank will use the proceeds from the credits for market development activities with the goal of expanding and sustaining the local market for clean energy, inter alia establishing service centres, providing partial employment to rural youth by imparting training and providing toolkit for maintenance and repair of Solar Home Lighting Systems financed by the bank.
 
 
  16th January 2013:

Smt. V. R. Iyer, Chairperson & Managing Director, Bank of India visited our Bank on 16-01-2013. She was accompanied by Sri N. C. Khulbe, General Manager, Bank of India,  Sri Gauri Shanker, General Manager, Bank of Inida and Sri Vikas Pandey, General Manager, Bank of Inida. 

 

   
  14th May 2012:

Sri M. S. Raghavan, Executive Director, Bank of India, Sri A. P. Ghugal, General Manager, Bank of India and Sri Rabi N Mishra, Regional Director, R.B.I. visited our Bank on 14-05-2012. Sri Raghavan inaugurated 'Aryavart Rural Development Trust'. They visited Bhitauli Kala village (attached to Barauli Jata branch) and inaugurated an Ultra Small Branch where smart cards with overdraft facility were distributed by them to customers. Bank's book on financial literacy - Aryavart Lal Kitab was also inaugurated there. They further visited village Sahelia (attached to Satrikh branch). The village was saturated with Solar Home Light Systems and Bank's 50001st Solar Home Light System was handed over by them to the customer.

 

   
  31st Mar 2012: New branches opened in Barabanki district at Yakootganj and Mahmoodabad. Total 24 new branches opened in Financial Year 2011-2012.        
  30th Mar 2012: New branches opened in Unnao district at Buxer and Adgaon Pasha Khera.    
  14th Mar 2012: New branch at Gosaidaspur opened in Kannauj district.    
  6th Mar 2012: 1 branch opened in Hardoi district, i.e., DSCL Roopapur.    
  5th Mar 2012: 2 branches opened in Hardoi district, viz., Lonar and Pihani Chungi    
  16th Feb 2012: Sri P. K. Tataria, General Manager, BOI  visited our Head Office on 16-02-2011.  
  31st Jan 2012: Sri A. P. Ghugal, General Manager, Bank of India and  Sri B. V. Upahye, General Manager, Bank of India visited our Head Office on 31-01-2011.  
  20th July 2011: Sri V. V. Buche, AGM, Bank of India has joined as General Manager of Aryavart Gramin Bank.

 

 
  23rd June 2011:

Sri P.K. Pattanaik, DGM, BOI joined as Chairman of the Aryavart Gramin bank.
